It's fun to try patterns from a variety of quilt designers. Here's one from Margaret Mitchell's Angle Play book. The question is, what color background should I use? Light blue? Dark blue makes the outter dark blue pieces disappear. Light yellow?
Here's a table runner that has a very nice background but it doesn't work with the bright colors.
