Quilt in SCMQG Swap

Several people have asked me for the pattern I used for the quilt I made for my swap partner. It is a variation of the very old snowball block.

I got the pattern free some years ago but it is no longer on the guild site. The lady who made the pattern for the LAMQG has it on her site for $4.

Equilter Design Fun

I have been focusing on modern designs for the last couple of years and having EQ available makes exploration easy. Here's today experiment. Soon to be a table runner or even a bed runner.

Fusing Adventure

I am no fan of fusing but sometimes it saves a lot of time. I experimented with Steam-a-Seam lite and Steam-a-Seam II. The grid side on both is really stiff so I decided to try Wonder Under. I am struggling mightily with it. Too hot and the glue melts and pulls off, less hot and edges don't adhere, even less hot and nothing adheres. YUCK!!! 

Maybe I will just piece the leaves for the placemats, lol.
