I'm creating a wallhanging for a commercial location with a decor heavy in browns and creams and tans. A traditional pattern just won't fit in the environment so I'm starting with traditional and seeing what happens. Rate this at the bottom of the post please.

Color scheme 2 - brown gold

3-D Pinwheel and other folded techniques

I love cathedral windows and the many variations. I also love to spinkle in some 3-D techniques in with traditional piecing. Here's a sample of what's getting folded in the quilt room this week. The first pix is of a hot pad. The others are a wall hanging for a sweet little girl's new bedroom.

You might check out the post from last year about this time with the cathedral "cube" quilts.

WIP - The Geese Are Back

Back working on the flying geese...I really like these colors. Machine quilting the table runner.  I think I'll work on some snowflakes...I need two more design walls, I really like 5-6 things cooking at once.

Good Job Janice

Janice was a student in a recent paper piecing class I taught in which we create a single tulip. She caught the paper piecing bug and turned it into a virtual flower garden. Good job!
